Programme: Two Year Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.)

Annual Intake: One batch of 50 students

Number of Optional Subjects: 7 (English, Malayalam, Mathematics, Physical Science, Natural Science, Social Science, Commerce)

Applications to the B.Ed. Degree Course shall be submitted via online mode (https://admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in/). Any candidate who desires to obtain admission under the University of Kerala for the B.Ed. Degree course should compulsorily be registered online before the closure of registration, irrespective of the Category (Open Merit (General) / SC /ST / Community / Differently Abled Persons / Defence Quota / Sports Quota, etc.) to which the applicant belongs. The candidates applying for Community Quota and Management Quota shall also register online. The seats under Community Quota will be filled on the basis of merit and the community certificates issued by the Revenue Authorities.

The course extends for a period of two years comprising four semesters. The course of study shall be by regular attendance for the requisite number of lectures and practical training.
